uvula and soft pallet removed most – my deviated spetum worked. The recovery was tough and took about a week before I was able to eat solids again. Before the surgery my wife and I could not sleep INTHE room. Now I am still humming and we head to toe, but it’s worth it. I am simply very ill when I drink, or if Im tired …. Super problems hmm it’s funny – I can chug a beer foam and it comes out of my nose. Sometimes, I’ll gag salavia -. Do not know why, but I have to do before surgery nt

I have not had the surgery- but I have heard good and bad things about it. I would probably not get it unless I had cardiac problems related to the apnea. It is also used in worse case senarios. The sugery that I have studied is called a UPPP(uvulopalatopharyngoplasty)— The bad part about this surgery is that there is ALOT of swelling post-op.- So your apnea is like 10* worse for a while. -And you don’t know the results for about 6 wks. And even after that you don’t know it is going to beneficial. I understand that it is invasive- but I would stick with the CPAP- because it seems, from what I have studied, to be the best bet.
