Soils Technician, Materials Technician – works under the supervision of a Geotechnical Engineer.
These are all concerns of Civil Engineers because they are involved with earth moving, compaction and building of large concrete structures such as bridge abutments. The US Army Corps of Engineers has similar concerns and training for their Mlitary Engineers.
