The BIG one I can think of is A Beautiful Mind. Then there’s the Fear And Loathing movie.
For oddball– check out Jacob’s Ladder, that’s a real twist (the ‘doctor’ is actually the pain killers the main character has been given throughout the movie, the twist ending explains it all in the last 3 minutes.

First, abnormal and psych class are synonyms.
Carrie is a good schizophrenic exercise, and damned scary to boot.
Silence of the Lambs gives a whole new meaning to “bon apitit.” Surely some social or psychological aberration can be gleaned from it.
A Beautiful Mind is a true story, and Russell Crowe is stellar in his performance.
Eyes Wide Shut is erotic in some bizarre way (key word – bizarre). I think this was a last ditch effort to save the Cruise/Kiddman marriage.
One of my personal favorites (I am a little old) is One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.”
Another bizarre film is Kubrick’s “A Clockwork Orange.”
There are a bizillion more, but be careful… fantasy can become reality!

I don’t think anyone’s mentioned Memento yet – the lead guy has no short term memory (Anterograde Amnesia). that would be an awesome condition to write about and the film is really good!
Think everything else has been covered though!
Makes me notice that most of my favourite films are about these kind of people…Trainspotting (but i cant believe noones mentioned that so maybe they have)

Hmmm, let’s see. There’s A Clockwork Orange…REALLY disturbing. I’m not sure what disorder the kid in that movie is supposed to have. I believe it may be Antisocial Personality Disorder.
Then there’s Red Dragon with Ralph Fiennes. The main character in that movie is a schizophrenic serial killer.
Of course there’s A Beautiful Mind, another schizophrenia movie.
Then there’s Spider, another Ralph Fiennes movie; I think that one’s also about a schizophrenic.
The main character in Stranger Than Fiction has OCD. The Monk series is also about a detective with OCD.
No Brother of Mine, starring Kellie Martin, is a Lifetime movie about a woman whose brother is a sociopath.
Augusta Gone is another Lifetime movie about a girl who abuses drugs.
The woman in The Hand that Rocks the Cradle definitely has psychological issues, though I’m not sure what her diagnosis would be.
Arachnaphobia is another good one. That one should be self-explanatory.
Oh, and who could forget Psycho?! An Alfred Hitchcock classic. Very creepy!
And finally, Me, Myself, and Irene starring Jim Carrey is about a man with Multiple Personality Disorder.
And of course the list could go on and on and on and….
Good luck with your paper.
